Discipleship and Missional Living

Discipleship

Helping people follow Jesus with their Whole-Life (physical, spiritual, relational etc.) Discipleship is more than a quiet time—it’s about identity, formation, and living with purpose in every part of life.

We do this through:

The Guided Discipleship Journal: A four-part, 12-week series that takes disciple-ready members from starting their journey to leading others. Used in small groups called Allies, each journal builds on the last—designed to be repeated for deeper growth and multiplying disciples.

Halftime Event: A powerful in-person reset for men seeking clarity, direction, and renewed purpose.

Leadership Intensives: High-impact tools and support for leaders building a culture of discipleship in their home, workplace, or church.

Catalyst Sessions: In-person, step-by-step training to help you confidently begin and lead others on the discipleship journey. You’ll clarify your purpose, build a team of allies, learn to lead meaningful weekly meetings, and finish with a live Q&A.

Missional Living

Helping People Live on Mission—Right Where They Are. Living missional is one of the clearest markers of true discipleship. Jesus said, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
We follow Him. He shapes us. And as a result, we live on mission.
Mission doesn’t always mean going far—it means living with your eyes open, your heart engaged, and your life aligned with what Jesus is doing around you.

We do this through:
Mission Immersion Weekend : A transformative weekend experience that awakens and inspires everyday compassion.
Custom Workshops & Teaching and Coaching : Equipping churches, groups and individuals discover and develop their unique ministry in their neighborhood, job, or community.

Who We Are

Below are some of the convictions that drive us.

We believe discipleship belongs in the marketplace—not just within church walls. The Gospel of Jesus spreads most powerfully Monday through Friday: at school, at the honest mechanic’s shop, in grocery store aisles. It’s for everyday people, in everyday places—homes, jobs, neighborhoods, and coffee shops.

That conviction was born years ago on a middle school bus in a small town, when Mrs. Polly, the bus driver, chose to see her job not just as work, but as ministry. Ordinary jobs become extraordinary platforms when done for the glory of God and with a heart full of love.

At Bus7, our goal is for you to see your whole life as a mission trip.
We love trips and events—they matter, and we’re a part of them. But if missions only happen during scheduled events, something vital is missing.

Missional living is meant to be woven into everyday life.
It’s not complicated, and it’s not always dramatic. It looks like treating others the way you want to be treated, and loving your neighbor—whether at home, at work, in the grocery store, or on vacation. It all counts.

If you need a passport to share your faith, but don’t do the same in your own neighborhood, that’s a disconnect we can’t ignore. We’re passionate about helping people move beyond mission work as an activity—into missional living as a lifestyle.

We believe the local church is the best place for sound teaching and doctrinal formation. Our role isn’t to replace that, but to complement it. While doctrine matters deeply, discipleship is struggling not because of poor theology, but because of poor daily practice. We may not all agree on every doctrine, but we can agree on this: abiding in Christ bears fruit, quality time builds strong families, your body is worth caring for because it is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and what you do with your time on earth matters. TourChurch exists to support the church by helping you live out biblical rhythms—daily, tangibly, and in every area of your life.

Throughout the Bible, we’re commanded to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength—a picture of the whole person submitted to Him. Jesus cares about the whole person. Our discipleship starts with building a healthy spiritual life, but it doesn’t stop there. We care about the whole person too. So as you get on the bus, expect to hear about faith, family, work, health, and more.

Our Doctrinal Beliefs

At Bus7, we exist to support the local church—trusting that doctrine is shaped by church community teaching and personal study. Our focus isn’t on defining doctrine, but on empowering practical application in everyday life. That said, here’s a brief look at the core beliefs that guide what we do.

We believe the Bible—both Old and New Testaments—is the only inspired, infallible Word of God. It’s fully sufficient to teach us how to live, grow, and walk in His will.

We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the Creator and Sustainer of all life. He is eternally loving, holy, and true.

We believe God the Father is perfectly loving, righteous, and true—never one without the others. As our perfect Father, He provides everything we need for life and godliness. He desires to know us intimately, and in His great love, He gave His only Son to restore our relationship with Him.

We believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, fully God and fully man. He has always existed, is holy, righteous, and true, and was born of a virgin. Though capable of being tempted, He lived a sinless life. He died on the cross for the sins of all humanity, rose from the grave on the third day, and secured our only path to righteousness and forgiveness.
Jesus is the only person to ever follow God’s will completely and without error. He is our perfect example of obedience. We believe He lived, ministered, and fulfilled His mission in full dependence on the Holy Spirit—abiding in the Father and empowered by the Spirit in all He did.

We believe the Holy Spirit is God—not a force, but a person—eternal and active. The Spirit speaks, fills, and empowers believers with everything needed for life and godliness. We believe the gifts and fruit of the Spirit are alive and available today. No disciple can fulfill God’s plan without the Holy Spirit actively leading, empowering, and transforming them.

We believe that because God is holy and righteous, our sin separates us from Him. He cannot overlook or excuse sin—but in His mercy, He offers forgiveness through Jesus. When we confess our sin and place our faith in the finished work of Christ, we are fully forgiven—past, present, and future—by grace through faith alone.
Though sin no longer separates believers from God’s love, it still carries serious consequences. For those who reject Christ, sin results in eternal separation from God, despite His love for them.
For believers, unconfessed sin can hinder prayer, block blessing, and dull spiritual sensitivity. It robs us of the abundant life Jesus came to give. We believe a true disciple of Christ will not persist knowingly and willingly in sin without conviction or repentance.

We believe that salvation from sin’s guilt, penalty, and power is found in Christ alone. It is accomplished solely through His perfect obedience, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and exaltation as Lord.
Jesus—fully God and fully man—is the only mediator between God and humanity. There is no salvation through any other person, creed, process, or power. Each sinner is justified and reconciled to God by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

We believe the Church is God’s family and is described in Scripture as the Body of Christ. Jesus is the head of the Church, and every believer is a vital part of that body—uniquely gifted and called to play a meaningful role in His mission.
