At Bus7, we believe discipleship isn’t reserved for pastors, or the spiritually elite. It’s for everyday people, in everyday places—homes, jobs, neighborhoods, and coffee shops. That belief was born years ago, on a middle-school bus in a small town.
Bus7 is named in honor of a woman who never carried a title, led a ministry, or stood on a stage—but she changed lives every morning.
She was my school bus driver.
She knew every kid’s name, listened when no one else did, and radiated the love of Jesus with a joy that was impossible to ignore.
She was the first adult I ever saw who was fully alive in Christ—a little unhinged, in all the best ways.
She was overflowing with laughter, wonder, and deep faith. And she’s the one who first taught me how to listen for the Holy Spirit’s voice.
The way she lived—unapologetically joyful, present, and wide awake to God—left a mark I still carry today.

Our discipleship model emphasizes daily practices over theological distinctives.
We believe the local church is the best place for deep teaching and doctrinal formation.
Our role is to help believers build consistency, spiritual habits, and identity in Christ—especially through tools like The Way journal.
We intentionally leave theological nuance to the pastors and leaders of each local body.

Two Core Focus Areas:
Whole-Life Discipleship..Helping people grow in identity, habits, and calling
Missional Living...Helping people live sent—right where they already are
We believe in missional lifestyles for all believers.
We wholeheartedly support those called into vocational or global missions, but we also believe everyone is called to live on mission—at work, at home, in the gym, and in the neighborhood.
Our goal is to help churches equip everyday people to live extraordinary lives in Christ by recognizing where God is already moving and joining Him there.
At Bus7, we encourage people to lean into their local church and personal study when it comes to theology. While we provide tools and resources for discipleship, we don’t dive into deep or distinctive theological stances. Instead, we focus on practical habits that help anyone grow in their walk with Jesus—no matter their background.

We believe the Bible—both Old and New Testaments—is the only inspired, infallible Word of God. It’s fully sufficient to teach us how to live, grow, and walk in His will.
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the Creator and Sustainer of all life. He is eternally loving, holy, and true.
We believe God the Father is perfectly loving, righteous, and true—never one without the others. As our perfect Father, He provides everything we need for life and godliness. He desires to know us intimately, and in His great love, He gave His only Son to restore our relationship with Him.
We believe Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, fully God and fully man. He has always existed, is holy, righteous, and true, and was born of a virgin. Though capable of being tempted, He lived a sinless life. He died on the cross for the sins of all humanity, rose from the grave on the third day, and secured our only path to righteousness and forgiveness.
Jesus is the only person to ever follow God’s will completely and without error. He is our perfect example of obedience. We believe He lived, ministered, and fulfilled His mission in full dependence on the Holy Spirit—abiding in the Father and empowered by the Spirit in all He did.
We believe the Holy Spirit is God—not a force, but a person—eternal and active. The Spirit speaks, fills, and empowers believers with everything needed for life and godliness. We believe the gifts and fruit of the Spirit are alive and available today. No disciple can fulfill God’s plan without the Holy Spirit actively leading, empowering, and transforming them.
We believe that because God is holy and righteous, our sin separates us from Him. He cannot overlook or excuse sin—but in His mercy, He offers forgiveness through Jesus. When we confess our sin and place our faith in the finished work of Christ, we are fully forgiven—past, present, and future—by grace through faith alone.
Though sin no longer separates believers from God’s love, it still carries serious consequences. For those who reject Christ, sin results in eternal separation from God, despite His love for them.
For believers, unconfessed sin can hinder prayer, block blessing, and dull spiritual sensitivity. It robs us of the abundant life Jesus came to give. We believe a true disciple of Christ will not persist knowingly and willingly in sin without conviction or repentance.
We believe that salvation from sin’s guilt, penalty, and power is found in Christ alone. It is accomplished solely through His perfect obedience, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, and exaltation as Lord.
Jesus—fully God and fully man—is the only mediator between God and humanity. There is no salvation through any other person, creed, process, or power. Each sinner is justified and reconciled to God by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.
We believe eternal life is a free gift from God, given to anyone who repents and puts their faith in Jesus Christ. It doesn’t begin at death—it begins the moment you believe. From that point on, the Spirit of God lives in you, His fruit grows through you, and you begin to walk in the reality of eternal life here and now.
We believe the Church is God’s family and is described in Scripture as the Body of Christ. Jesus is the head of the Church, and every believer is a vital part of that body—uniquely gifted and called to play a meaningful role in His mission.
We believe that all God requires of us is summed up in this: to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength—and to love our neighbor as ourselves. This is the foundation of true discipleship.
We believe the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) is a call given to committed and equipped disciples. At Bus7, we believe the call to “go” must be preceded by the call to follow Christ. As we follow Him, the Holy Spirit equips and empowers us to live on mission—right where we are and wherever He leads.
