While I was on tour speaking at a church in Wisconsin, I came across a small book in the church library outside my dressing room. Intrigued by the title, I started reading it and found myself unable to put it down. My mentor once told me, "Not all readers are leaders, but all leaders should be readers." He encouraged me to read books that challenge my beliefs, not just ones that reinforce them. "Joining Jesus" is a perfect example of such a book. Greg Finke's "Joining Jesus on His Mission" will push your boundaries in all the right ways. This is a must-read if you are serious about loving your neighbor in today's culture. What I love the most is that it offers extremely practical advice, and it's a short read. I highly recommend it.
