With 18 years of experience working with impactful missional organizations and serving as a lead pastor and missions/discipleship pastor, I have developed a keen understanding of what distinguishes healthy, sustainable mission efforts from well-meaning but sometimes unhealthy ones.

Bus7 can help through

Missions Sunday Event.

Invite Bus7's president, Bobby Lingo, to your church for a Missions Sunday. Bobby travels the country speaking on missional living. With the heart of a coach and knack for story telling, Bobby will help your people reimagine their definition of living missional and give them an opportunity make and immediate impact.

Missions Immersion Event

Bus7 will host this event in Nashville, TN. It will be a fun and inspiring weekend that explores the many ways to live a missional lifestyle. It is part missions project and part workshop. Friday evening kicks off a worship/workshop experience preparing your team to discover the many ways you can serve your community together. On Saturday, it's time to put what we have learned to practice with a full day of serving through various projects and initiatives before gathering for dinner to discuss what we have learned. Sunday we will wrap it up with a full worship service ending with prayer for your mission field (your community).

Your church members will leave challenged to work within their strengths, see where God is working and join Him in the work He is doing when they return home.

Coaching and Mentoring

As your team focuses on establishing or Re-establishing your Missions department, Bus7 can walk beside you as a coach to help ensure your missional efforts are as healthy, sustainable, and transformative as possible. We can help with any or all of the following.

Develop a philosophy of missions. Helping to identify your missional identity while remaining focused and effective in what God has put on your heart.
Discover missional opportunities around you. Establish or re-establish your missions’ initiatives that align with your philosophy of missions and address some of your communities greatest felt needs.
Vetting Missions Partners. Determine missional partnerships and volunteer opportunities that align with your church's philosophy of missions.
Staff encouragement. Walking with and encouraging your missions staff through monthly phone communication.
Telling Your Story Well. Believe it or not, how you tell your story internally makes all the difference in how impactful you will be. Ensuring your messaging within the church is being shared in a way that engages and inspires your church is something we can help with.
Create your very own missions initiatives (when appropriate) to engage your community and meet the needs of your neighbors near and far.

Bus7 can walk with your church for a period of time as you establish your mission discipleship culture. Through online meetings, phone calls, onsite visits, we can walk with you as you becomes a church that lives missional.

Becoming a Church Partner.

For select churches, Bus7 for a period of time, determined by your leadership and our team, with partner with your church as an extension of your missions team.

During that time we will walk with you to.

Develop a philosophy of missions. Helping to identify your missional identity while remaining focused and effective in what God has put on your heart.
Discover missional opportunities around you. Establish or re-establish your missions’ initiatives that align with your philosophy of missions and address some of your communities greatest felt needs.
Coach and train those in your church who are passionate about missional living. Discover and train leaders within your church to lead the way in your missions’ efforts.
Vet Missions partners and organizations. Determine missional partnerships and volunteer opportunities that align with your church's philosophy of missions.
Telling Your Story Well. We will provide videos and visual announcements that keep your church engaged in the work that you are doing with Bus7.
Create your very own missions initiatives (when appropriate) to engage your community and meet the needs of your neighbors near and far.
Create and host domestic and international mission trips for your church. Our mission trips are short term trips with long term vision and lifetime partnerships in mind.

Becoming a missions partner is a month to month commitment where Bus7 walks with your church as you establish your mission discipleship culture. Through online meetings, phone calls, onsite visits, we can walk with you as you becomes a church that lives missional. In addition Bus7 keeps you informed on your missional impact through videos and updates.
